How Seeking Clarity Brought Me Full Circle
As I was preparing to launch the Emotional Clarity Reset Journal that has been a year in development, I received a popup notification of a Facebook memory from November 2009.
The post that I wrote in November 2009 stated “thanking God for clarity today. Loving someone can be hard and knowing that it is time to let it go…even harder.” As I was editing and putting the final additions on my journal, this reminder from my memories 17 years ago to the day froze me in my tracks. The memory of that relationship 17 years ago collided with the memory of my most recent breakup a year ago and this moment felt full circle.
A bag of mixed emotions. The Facebook post memory 17 years ago made me happy because I knew that what I am doing and where I am in this moment is where I am supposed to be, and it felt like pure alignment. It also made me sad because I found myself in a position where I was repeating some of the same patterns and behaviors in my relationships 17 years later. Behavior that would land me in yet another failed relationship.
This Emotional Clarity Reset Journal was born out of some deep introspection about why I continue to engage in unhealthy patterns that lead to one-sided failed relationships. Walking through these prompts helped me to gain clarity on the fact that I can give myself some grace. I can do this because I am strong enough to choose better for myself. This space of Soulfully Clear will be a platform for others who seek the same clarity. A platform for those want to move forward in life clear on who that are and who they want to become.
The Emotional Clarity Reset Guide is a 21-day journal but take as much time as you need to go through the prompts to really reflect on the answers so that you are open and honest with yourself.
I've gone through the prompts repeatedly and each time I get something different from how I reflect on my answers as I continue get more honest with myself.
